Act 3, Scene 1: "Dead to Me"

Act 3, Scene 1: "Dead to Me"

Image result for deadly sign skeleton

This symbolic image of the skeleton stands for what took place in Act 3, Scene 1 of Romeo and Juliet. The Capulets and Montagues have a deep hatred for one another, and this hatred is demonstrated throughout this scene as members of the two sides fight until one's death. The scene begins with the foolish but at the same time serious sword fight between Tybalt and Mercutio, the two swing at one another, as Mercutio cracks jokes of what is taking place until one moment Tybalt attempts to stab Mercutio and ends up making contact with Mercutio's chest leading Mercutio to experience a slow and painful death. After this shocking moment takes place, Romeo is enraged by Tybalt's action and seeks revenge for what had been done to one of his very dear friends. Tybalt is dead to Romeo, which is why this image of the skeleton is used for this scene. This image of the skeleton is usually used as a sticker to state that something is deadly, and since more than one death occurs in this scene the sticker should be placed to give a sign of what takes place. Romeo chases after Tybalt as he was bursting in rage soon leading to another sword fight. This sword fight led to a Capulet's death rather than a Montague's death, as Romeo soon killed Tybalt in revenge of what happened.

Act 2, Scene 2: Oh Romeo and His Thoughts

Host: Well Romeo you have been having quite a love life haven't you?

Romeo: Yes, yes, I believe I have. There are so many beautiful women out there and I guarantee you I have found the most beautiful and amazing women to ever live.

Host: I understand you have gotten over Rosaline and your new love is Juliet, but don't you think it is going to lead to some trouble since she is a Capulet?

Romeo: Our love for one another is worth all the troubles that we may face. I am never going to give Juliet up, she is my one and only and I would die for her. (literally)

Host: Do your friends and family support the fact you love Juliet?

Romeo: Well I am supported by the Friar and Nurse, but who cares about all the other Montagues that believe I should not love a Capulet. I would rather be with her than anyone else in this world. If if I have to, I am most definitely willing to become a Capulet in order for our relationship to not be frowned upon.

Act 1, Scene 5: Tattle Tales

Act 1, Scene 1: Tattle Tales...
During the introduction of Romeo and Juliet, a Capulet party takes place which the Montagues were never invited to. Romeo and his friends such as Mercutio, decide it would be interesting to visit this party in order to add a little more excitement in their day. One of the Capulets is soon infuriated with how Romeo and his friends decided to arrive and attempts to warn Lord Capulet of their presence. Capulets and Montagues have a deep hatred towards one and another, which is the reason one of these Capulets was enraged with Romeo and his friends' presence at the party. This reminds me of my brother's behavior of both when he was younger and nowadays. My brother behaves like this Capulet, attempting to notify my parents of anything I have done wrong. Telling them would never benefit him in any way, but it just brought him some sort of joy to see me punished here and there. The Capulets and Montagues despise one and another the majority of the time, and my brother's relationship with me is a mix of love and hatred just like all other brothers.

Stitches

Stitches
Twelve years ago is when this adventure took place...
My aunt had a smile that shined brighter than the sun on her face,
for I had only seen her once before,
and that was the moment I entered this world.
Soon enough my mom called from the top of the stairs,
My aunt immediately replying, “One second, I will be right there!”
The moment she left I was all alone,
and she told me to stay still as a stone.
She promised me that she would be right back,
but as soon as she left she heard a big “SMACK”!
“Oh why did I not listen?” I asked myself in pain,
why did everything people tell me not process in my silly little brain.
I had jumped from the couch to hang from a balloon,
what? Did I think I was part of some cartoon?
I pounced high at the balloon hoping to be like tarzan,
but soon after I realized I am definitely not a stunt man.
This jump did not go as planned as you can see,
for seconds after I had glass planted in my knee.
This incident took place in a blink of an eye,
I even had glass sticking into my thigh.
There was blood running down to the tip of my toenail,
and I promise you this isn’t just a silly old tale.
I screamed so loud that my neighbors could hear me,
I screamed so loud, well...can you blame me?
I know that my aunt was the only relative who could see me,
but I’m pretty sure all the others could hear me.
My entire leg was bursting in pain,
I swear, I was honestly going insane.
My parents and aunt all ran to the door,
but could I walk that distance? I was unsure.
As they carried me to the car I continued to scream in pain,
and by the time we arrived I caused them a migraine.
My screams were full of horror and fear,
but this wasn’t from the glass, it was because the ER was near.
My parents told me in a horrifying tone,
“IT WILL BE INFECTED IF YOU LEAVE IT ALONE!”
As I headed into the doctor’s office thoughts ran through my head,
though seconds after I was laying in a bed
Looking to the side I saw the doctor sitting on his stool,
and next to him I witnessed a variety of sharp and pointy tools.
Being wide awake I was not put to sleep,
therefore,  as they dug into my skin I sat there and weeped.
Oh why did I have to land on my dad’s coffee glass,
but let’s just forget about that little incident since it’s all in the past.
