Act 5, Scene 3: Romeo's Fate
Oh, dear Juliet! How cruel life can be to such a beautiful person like you. You are the love of my life and I will do anything to be with you. I despise your father for forcing you to marry Paris. He is so dull! I cannot imagine the pain you had to go through being torn away from our love by the sinister desires of your sinful parents! I do not blame you for the actions that you have taken as I know I would do nothing but the same! Our love will never die. Even in death, you stand as a monument to the beauty of mankind and the power that love has possess. The throes of death shall not keep us apart! Let us be together again, even in the darkest part of life, which is full of light thanks to you, dear Juliet. Hello once again my love!

Act 2, Scene 6: Interview with Romeo
Host: So Romeo, how do you feel about your sudden marriage to Juliet?
Romeo: It is the best part of my life! I love her with all my heart and I know we will have a happy life together. She is just so beautiful.
Host: So what do you love about Juliet?
Romeo: She is just beautiful inside and out. Every time I see her face it reminds me how much I love her. Her personality is a radiant light in my boring and dull world. Nobody else I have ever known compares to her!
Host: Who do you think about the fact that she is a Capulet and you a Montague?
Romeo: I do not care and neither does she! Love knows no boundaries and this brutal and stupid rivalry is no exception. We both wish it would end, as it would only be beneficial to both us and all members of our families. Let no more blood be shed!
Host: Thank you Romeo!
Romeo: My pleasure!

Act I, Scene I: Childish Conflict
Act I, Scene I Quarreling and Insults. It seems like me and my sister constantly fight over little things, trying to prove ourselves better than the other. It is strikingly similar to how servants from the Montague and Capulet families bicker and fight over their differences. Like when me and my sister argue, it seems like they too are "biting their thumb" at each other simply to annoy one another. Their actions are bellicose and encourage the other servants to lash out and attack the other, much like how me and my sister always seem to verbally dangle bait in an effort to provoke violence. While their differences lead to a city-wide brawl where many die as a result of just a few flared tempers, the same conclusion can be drawn as can be drawn from the arguments between me and my sister. If we both just cooled off and saw each other as humans, these issues would exist and everyone would be better for it. This same lessons can be applied to the politics of the real world, which have some of the biggest implications known to man. If North Korea were to realize that their constant aggression towards the U.S was simply just a waste of effort that could be concentrated on the well-being of their countless starving citizens, the world would be just that much more of a better place.

Surgery
Surgery
My dad reveals the reason for his pain
Veins bulge out of the tissue
Veins create a bridge over the tissue
One bridge stretches like the Golden Gate
Stretches over the bay of muscle and tissue below it
Except it’s clogged
Always rush hour
If the jam restricts oxygen
His heart rate jumps as oxygen decreases
No ski trip into the thin mountain air
Then, the kicker
He’s having open heart surgery
He’s 46. Not 70.
Not old enough.
Not frail enough.
So young in comparison.
February 2016.
I’m enjoying my Saturday.
My dad is at the hospital
The surgery is likely to go well
He’s not old enough to suffer complications
Those who don’t make it are old
They have more than just a bad heart
Nerves. Nerves. Calm.
I take my mind off it.
I’m glad I have no control.
The surgery is over. My dad did great.
A few days in the hospital.
He goes home to a recliner even I’m jealous of.
A year later, he’s healing well
He’s back to himself
No chest pain
