Act 5 Scene 3: Interview with the Prince

Host: So prince, how do you feel about the two deaths?
Prince: Well, of course, it is a tragedy, but I actually think it might do a lot of good.
Host: What do you mean?
Prince: The feud families are realizing that the feud is really silly because of this.
Host: I see. What do you think will happen between the families once the feud is over?
Prince: I don't see them as being friends, but I see the as fighting a lot less and less death between the two.
Host: Wow, that was very surprising. Thank you.

Act 2 Scene 2: Romeo and Juliet are in Love

The relationship between Romeo and Juliet is simple. It is love at first sight. This is evident when they agreed to marry each other after talking for such a short time. Usually, when someone decides to marry someone, they are together for years. The book also shows you how excited each of them are. This shows that they are really in love and want to be together.

Act I Scene I: Quote from the Prince

"Rebellious subjects, enemies to peace,
Profaners of this neighbor-stainted steel" - This quote shows how the Prince feels about the Capulets and the Montagues fighting. His is also speaking in a way that makes him seem superior to others, helping him restore peace. If the Capulets or the Montagues felt that he was not superior and did not have power over them, they would not have listened to him and would have kept fighting. The way that the prince said this really surprised me because I would assume that he would quickly put a stop to this, but instead he had a whole speech that he said that stopped them. He also was very neutral in saying this because he did not favor either the Montagues or the Capulets.

The one kid you try your hardest with

Ends up being mean

He hates you

Doesn’t let you speak

Doesn’t let you talk

He makes you feel miserable

He makes people

Not listen

Not talk

Not be with you

Just because of him

You don’t have a voice

You can’t say what you want

You can’t do what you want
And because of him

People don’t listen

Since when do you have to bottle up your feelings from fear of him?

You stop caring and

Splat!

You fall off the bridge

Just imagine

Imagine not having a voice
