I Really Could Care Less

I am a woman but I am not one’s maid
I really could care less
I am tried of all the judgement.
Just because I don’t want to stay home and clean doesn’t mean I am not a woman
I really could care less
Your old fashioned thinking is clouding your judgement.

Wake up.
Wake the hell up!
Do you really think I care!
I know you’re my mother but I am a feminist.

You might not like what I do
but I really don’t care
because I am no one’s maid
I don’t listen to all the judgement going around because
if I am treated as an equal then all your bullshit judgement can go out the door
because I don’t care if you think I need to clean more

The only thing I fight for is Feminism
Shout out to all the women out there fighting everyday for equality.
Because everything else I really could care less about
I ain’t serving a guy just because he is a small minded person
I ain’t sticking up to no asshole who thinks we’re in the 1950’s
I really could care less

all I care about is my right
so shout out too all these gals out there keep
fighting  against all these small minded men

Sorry mama I got to do what I think is right
I really could care less
If you think this is wrong because it ain’t

Mama I know I am not perfect but
The right thing is
To Fight for gals out there
Who gotta stick up against all this judgement of
You're not good enough
You need to clean more

I really could care less
If you think this is wrong
because it ain’t
I know what the right thing is
so I really could care less.

  1. This is a great poem! I love the message of fighting for equality, and how people need to treat everyone the same. I also love the repetition used throughout this poem, as it really adds a lot.
Being a guy, this poem made me think if I was treating everyone the same, and if there was anything I could do to be completely fair to everyone.

  2. This is such an amazing poem and I totally agree with you! I love the message and agree with what you're saying because everyone should have equality and rights! Just because we're women doesn't mean we need to clean the house all day!
